What do we do?
Every church has it’s stuff. A program here, a ministry there. At Hope Springs, we have some of the normal church stuff as well as a whole heap of more unusual things too. We are a nimble bunch - our work changes often, because we are always meeting new people. We don’t believe in “one size fits all” ministry. Instead we try to do what we need to do exactly when we need to do it. As a result, many things change week to week. At the heart of it all however are our Three Core Values - Passionately Seek God, Joyfully Live Together, Selflessly Serve One Another.
Passionately Seek God
At Hope Springs, we crave God’s presence. We are addicted to Jesus, and we can’t wait to be with Him often!
Sunday Morning Worship - 10:30
Vibrant music, heartfelt prayer, deep study of the Word, and plenty of space to meet with the Lord. It’s casual, but intentional. Come as you are, but be prepared to leave different than you were.
The Table (1st and 3rd Wednesdays) - 6:30
An unassuming and hospitable time to be with the Lord - in quiet, in song, and in community. We pray for each other, our church, our city. We see God each week, and we feast together on His goodness toward us.
Other Opportunities: Weekly bible studies, step studies, worship nights, and take-home devotionals.
Joyfully Live together
When we say we are a family, we mean it. Like our ancient predecessors in the faith family, we believe that life is best lived together.
Sunday Breakfast and Bible Study - 9:30
We fill our belly with great home cooking, and we fill our soul together as a family with study of The Word. The atmosphere is like mom’s dinner table - everyone is welcome, no one leaves empty!
CR Friday Dinners - 6:15
At the end of a long week, why cook? Come join us for a hearty meal, plenty of support and encouragement, and space to unpack all you’ve taken on over the week. Plus you can stay for Celebrate Recovery (win-win)!
Other Opportunities: Home groups, fellowship events, date nights, and retreats.
Selflessly Serve One Another
We take our cue from Jesus, who said, “As I have loved you, love one another. No greater love has anyone than this, to lay one’s life down for one’s friends.”
Friday Celebrate Recovery - 7:00
We come together to share our stories, gaining strength, hope, and encouragement from our mutual vulnerability and accountability. We do not fight alone, but side by side in love for each other through every day’s battles.
Van Pick-Ups - Sundays and Fridays
We know transportation can be a barrier, and we don’t want to leave anyone out. We’ll get you to the table, even if it means taking triple the hours to host a gathering. Shelters, parks, apartment complexes. We’ll pick you up.
Other Opportunities: Nathaniel Mission partnerships, emergency aid, new home outfitting, and personal visits.
